Kananaskis in the Classroom

On Monday we had a visit from the Kananaskis in the classroom team. Corrie was our presenter this time and she gave a great performance for the students. We were all enthralled as she explained the differences between black bear and grizzly bear. She gave us some surprising facts including the amount of vegetation a bear has to eat before the winter time. Students were very excited to see our own Mr. Allen dressed in a bear suit being chased by a female grizzly bear around the gym. Students in grade 3/2 and grade 5 were invited to partcipate in the production as cubs and flowers of the forrest. Some classes even had private presentations in their classrooms later in the day. Way to go K in the Classroom. You rock!
